Does anyone own this model. Can they advise on how well it's sucks!
Looking to get this at a temp solution for the 4 sided planer but not sure if I believe the 6000m3/hr air flow stated on the website.

If you replace the cloth filters with some good quality cartridge filters then I'm confident that it will do the job. I've got the ADE2200 and with the stock bags it just wasn't performing as well as I wanted so I bought 2x of these and there was a substantial improvement in airflow and also in air quality (filters to 0.5micron).

Lynx, Do you have the manual for the 4 sider ?. Somewhere in it should be the recommended extraction rating at the collector head for the machine with the important static pressure (usually measured in Pa) rating also. It does suck at that rating, but that's before it's connected to any pipework etc. I have seen that machine in action and those filter bags chuck the fine dust straight out again, so if it's used in a workshop................. So as mentioned in above post it's advisable to use the cartridge filters. Using it on a 4 sider it's going to fill those bags faster than you can empty them imho ...

It's only to fit direct to the moulder until the budget allows us to run a proper sytem in the workshop so I don't think we'll need the cartridges to start with.
It doesn't matter about emptying the bags either, that won't be my job.
The reason for this one, it's looks the best for the price/air flow.
WW, we will be getting the manual/4 sider in the mornig so will add details of airflow (and a few pics) after.

MDF and silicone sealant...
Attach a piece of MDF big enough to cover the top opening of the extractor to one of the filters. Cut an opening to the filter with a trimming bit in the router then attach to the top of the extractor with plenty of silicone. Attach the other filter on top and block the open end with more MDF and sealant.
