Sorry in advance but I've got quite a few questions to ask; I bought a job lot of old machines from a firm closing down, all sold as seen but working (sort of)
First one involves a Whites Speed sander. We've set it up and can run wood through but the finish is poor. The sander either doesn't touch the wood or it takes 3mm off.
But the main problem is the juddering, I was told that this was designed to deal with high spots, but it judders all the way through. The result is a series of shallow grooves or ripples across the wood, it is as though the judder function is too sensitive.
Finally, what does the left hand wheel adjust?
