I am informed that there is a very popular size of blade for a Festo machine (dont know which one). the size given to me is 160 mm diameter x 20 mm bore 48 teeth.... ok..... all standard stuff.....
then i was told the kerf and plate thickness.....which i wouldnt normally get involved in as these things are "usually" standard...
2.2 mm kerf x 1.6 mm plate...
I have 2.6 mm kerf readily available but 2.2 seems to be a "special"
what does the panel know....

I don't think I'm on the panel but what you've got there is a fancy, fine-toothed, W type blade for the TS 55. It gives a superb, smooth cut but annoyingly requires a different cutting rail (or a new rubber strip) as all of the other Festool blades have a 2.5 or 2.6 mm thick kerf.
