Hi all, I'm after a couple of spindle moulder blocks to be made, I've called whitehill but they have a 6 week turn around currently. I'm after 2 rebate blocks, one that is 101mm in diameter, and another that is 105mm in diameter, both of which are 25mm tall. They are going to be used in conjunction with a 125mm rebate block to give me a double rebate, only one at a time though. Any ideas who else can make these for me?
thanks
Matt

Hi Matt you ask for rebate blocks which are both specials. I will assume you want disposable knife heads. do you need the scribing knives (14x14x2) on both sides of the head? 25 mm makes it a special knife, which becomes more expensive. could you use a 30 mm wide head? i can probably deliver in about three weeks. Thanks for the reply Dave, I should have been a bit more detailed in my email, yes to disposable blades and the scribing cutters, only on the top though. It needs to be 25mm as this is the important measurement for the window that gets fitted into the frame. Thats the profile I am making,I've sourced the tenoning cutters from NLS. I've also sourced the 12mm radius cutter for the ovolo. The sequence of cutters will be 12mm radius, spacer, 25mm tall rebate block, then standard rebate block. The 2 different diameters will be for either a 12/4 rebate combination or 10/6 rebate combination. The other block I'm after is a 7 degree sloping cill block, preferably 4 cutters with 2 adjustable radius cutters for the edge of the cill, 150mm tall and 100mm diameter at the widest point. Thanks Matt

The diameter for most of those are too big, I wanna be able to make the whole profile in one pass through the new moulder.
