Hi all,
I want to replace the bottom head of my tenoner with one that will also take limiter tooling (non limiter with tc cutters at the moment).
The bolt securing the head unscrews easily enough but where do I go from there. Do I need to remove the top motor and use a bearing puller?
Cheers
Mark

What to remove the block.? I have a 3 headed tenoner so I could always have a look tomorrow where the manual is in my filling cabinet

Hi,
Did you manage to dig the manual out. Or does anyone else have any clues? I've got a new head coming next week.
I've just realised that this post is in the wrong forum. MODs - would you move this to the correct forum please.
Cheers
Mark

I think snail mail is quicker than my response, Sorry. The manual says to wind out the cutter blocks till there fullest, unscrew the retaining nut, and in there words the block should just slide up and off. It must be exactly the same as a spindle moulder.

No need to apologise. The head seems stuck solid. I think its the original and been on there the life of the machine. I'll try some gentle persuasion and see how that goes.
Thanks
