We are currently using a 2hp standard mobile extractor on our panel saw but was thinking of swopping for the record power DX4000.
Do these things have enough suck to use on the large panel saw (125 & 80mm outlet)
Thanks

My understanding is the Record do not filter down to .5micron out of the box. you have to buy additional cartridge filters (not cheap)
If this is the type of extractor you are looking for I suggest you look at the Camvac range which do filter down to .5 microns out of the box and replacement filters are cheap
I'm a Camvac fan ;D

Hi Lynx,
I use one on my Mini Max panel saw. It has 3 filter which came with it, this takes it down to .5 microns..... it works very well with 100mm and a 63mm outlets.

My understanding is the Record does indeed filter down to 0.5 micron, seen it in their brochures somewhere. However trying to extract out of 125mm & 80mm outlets using these types of machine is IMHO going to disappoint whether it's Record or Camvac. If it was 63mm or 100mm outlet(but not both together) then OK, but 125 & 80 ........... . One point worth noting these machines are not quiet, especially the Camvac, (been there etc) We had a machine with a 125 outlet and with twin motors, even tried a triple motor it didn't work. Why not upgrade your present machine with a fine 0,5micron cartridge filter they work really well and an increase in suction .
