Hi guys & girls I bought this router as part of a job lot last week on e bay arrived today its in very good condition and in working order, its make is as the heading to this tread says . any body know anything about them . Does any body know what the two threaded machine hole that in the side of it are for , ( only thing i can think of is there to fit some sort of dust extraction unit to be fitted ) hmm maybe?. They are /were distributed by hagemeyer in the states that all i knowq about them. Any body know the age of this machine or where i can get an owner / instruction manual on this router, or any other info would be appreciated.

if it was distributed in the states and branded craftsman, then without doubt it was sold in sears roebuck. that's their brand hand and power tools. why even norm uses them ;D might be worth emailing them and asking for a leaflet or pdf. paul

Have a look at the Sears site: Sears ToolsCraftsman were or maybe still are the brand name of Sears in the States and Canada. They make a whole range of equipment and some of their stuff is quite good. I still have a Table Saw of theirs from 17 years ago (although somewhat modified and re-motored) that rivals the best. If the Router is relatively modern you should be able to find a manual on-line . . .
