That is about as cheap as I have seen for the Record. I am told you can wire these yourself, or a clever electrician can.

yeah i can wire them myself but these switches have a 10 seconds delay before and after switching on and off that's the electronic part i don't know about.

I reckon that it would be possible to build a circuit to do this using a press button switch, a 20 ampere 6-way relay and a timer delay switch (the sort of thing used in automatic Star Delta starters). The relay and switch are only going to be about £25 to £30, it's the timer which will cost the money - unless anyone here can come up with a capacitance discharge circuit to do the job....... Overall, though, the price seems not unreasonable for a ready-made product.

The electronic components for this probably cost less that a couple of quid but the circuit needs to be able to cope with large spikes and back emf from switching inductive loads. Plus working with both low and mains voltages is particularly dangerous. This doesn't look too bad a price, although you can get a vac with the same circuit for less money
