Wadkin DM any good at this price?

Hi,

I've been offered a Wadkin DM for £525. It needs a good scrub and the outer mounting position for the workpiece clamp is broken off. Otherwise it seems ok. Are these any good and are there any special observations (known issues, weak points etc) I should be making?

I did a quick search and found most prices mentioned were well into 4 figures, so it sounds very reasonable but I suppose it depends how much time, effort and cash it cost to get it into the state you want it. Also how easy/practical would it be to repair/replace the broken mounting position and how vital that is to its accurate working.
