I have a client that is after an illuminated glass table base. The glass will run 1700mm along two long faces and return 500 on one end. I'm tring to design a framing that will take the glass, house the lights behind but not allow large shadow lines to be seen. I think the best option would be using an aluminium system that the glass slides into, as well as giving access to the lights if needed.
has anyone worked with illuminated glass panels that can add any advice here.
regards

Take a butcher's at the Hettich website. They have a lot of LED systems some of which are designed to introduce light at the edges of a piecce of glass - which may, or may not, be what you're after of course.
