was told last weekend, barnes branch have closed in high wycombe, so any bright ideas about decent wood suppliers in the range m4 to m1 out as far as high wycombe? paul

Hiya Not sure how big the range is for more exotic woods but I have always got great service from Watford Timber www.wattim.co.uk and got oak and really nice ash in the past. The website is not that encouraging but you can mooch about and choose stuff yourself in the yard. Cheers Gareth

That reminds me Paul . Hansons that i use is not the same Hansons as you use . They parted company a few years ago , My Hansons is Hansons Riverdale .

One of the guys that worked at Barnes branchthere is starting out an outlet, supplying some hardwoods direct. I spoke to him about a month ago and he said he would give me a call once he got set up. If he does contact me I will pass his details on.
