Commiserations - it is a real blow when you have had something for a long time. If you are looking to replace it with another hilti why not go for an SID impact driver - they really are the dogs danglies and as with all hilti stuff the chargers are interchangeable so if you have other hilti gear you might only have to buy the bare driver. I was using mine today and it is a dream to use. obviously it can't drill holes, but for driving screws it is really very good - and feels about half the weight of the SF 151 A. If you want to borrow mine to give it a try send me a pm.

Thankyou very much for the offer Steve but i really need a drill driver . I may well go for a Hilti impact driver though as i was quite suprised that i didnt have a back up driver that worked . Then again if you buy Hilti you dont need a back up If they do go wrong you are covered for three years as standard and they come and pick it up and offer you a demo one untill yours is fixed Ahhhhhhhhhhh Hilti ;D
