Welcome to the September, 2008 issue of the Sawdust Making 101 Newsletter.
I have seen many ideas to use up those small bits of wood, this creation by Del has to be the ultimate if you have the time:

After watching the above video it occured to me that it might also be helpful to add a link about threading wood, and it just happens that Workshop Demos has a great article on using the Beall threader:

Tommy and Al from "T"-Chisel show us how to make a sliding dovetail to fasten legs to a pedestal table.

This is not exactly fine woodworking, but interesting to watch, Frank Klausz very quickly cuts dovetails with his bow saw and makes them fit with his claw hammer:

I ran across this ebook, "The Complete Guide To Wood Finishing", be warned it is part of a package to sell more, it is a 141 page, 720KB download, but it has lots of information at no cost to you.

Run out of ideas and want to browse through some plans, you will find hundreds of them that cost you nothing at Absolutely Free Plans:
absolutelyfreeplans.com
For other craft ideas visit Do-It-101.com, a do-it-yourself index to just about anything:

In closing I would like to remind you to work safely and remember:
"If it doesn't feel good, don't do it."
