I needed to PAR some Sapele and wasnt sure of the size untill i got to that bit so i bought sawn . £45 for 2.7 of 200 x 50 Anyhow the Lutz seemed to take the job of facing and edging and then thicknessing in its stride I was quite amazed really but i had spent half a day sorting out the issues i had with it . I think its the same model as the charnwood , Does anyone know ?

I needed to PAR some Sapele and wasnt sure of the size untill i got to that bit so i bought sawn . £45 for 2.7 of 200 x 50 No such a thing as cheap timber nowadays jason Glad you made the effort and set the machine up properly. Looks similar to the older Record and electra beckum models. Get a couple of sets of spare blades It wont be long until you see the benefits of having and using it. Cheers, Gazza. Oh yea, FFS clear a decent space for it ;D ;D

Oh yea, FFS clear a decent space for it ;D ;D I'll second that. Couple of questions: 1. How do you use your RAS to the left of the photo? 2. Is that an old TV to the middle? 3. do you own a broom? ;D

I dont have the room for it , everything has to be put in the centre of the workshop to get used . Its back in its corner in the picture . This is why i am looking at a multi machines .

criky mate , when you said you were pushed for space . what ever happened to that wall/panel saw you were re-inventing?? never the less you turn round some good work, quickly . I had to build another shed {12x12} to shift all the clutter , so i could work ;D
