Circular Saw Blade Question

Having got rid of my litttle, dangerous table saw I didn't have any use for a circular saw for some time, but now I have (using a guide).

I have an old Bosch circular saw, works very well, but needs a new blade.

I mostly cut par to size, but also ply and MDF. What blade/blades should I go for?

Hi smudger

I use a guide ( some know which ) and use 40-48 tooth blades bbut try for the 40 tooth ones as you get better speed of cut for not much difference in how well it cuts.

dont think you can go far wrong with a frued blade

Yes, I looked at the Freud, but I need 150mm, and I couldn't see any. I'll look again.

I have 150 diameter blades available but I'm not sure what bore size you need for your Bosch machine....
For MDF and Ply i would suggest 48 teeth as already mentioned.
this will do the par but you might be better with a different blade with less teeth.
let me know the bore size and i will tell you how much.

I can do the blade with a 20 mm bore and reducing bust to 16 mm
