A bit corrupted from the authentic no doubt, but this is an old fave (which I had last night).
Take as much beef as you can eat (something veined with a bit of fat is best, ribeye is excellent, but it may as well be a cheaper cut given what you are about to do to it), and slice it as thin as you can. Leaving it in the freezer for half an hour will help, if needed.
Slice a big onion per person, again, thin is good. Tip steak and onion into a bowl. Get a big lump of ginger per steak (a thumb or two) and slice one way, then the other to make 'threads'. Finely dice or squash a clove of garlic per serving and tip that and the ginger into the bowl. Add a couple of tablespoons of sesame seeds, a couple of tablespoons of toasted sesame oil, and the same of soy sauce, half a tablespoon of sugar, and a half-teaspoon of white pepper.
Stir that lot up, cover and leave to marinade for as long as you've got - at least an hour or two ideally, but even ten minutes is good.
Then heat up a griddle, grill or oven* to max, chuck the mix on to the griddle/grillpan/oven tray and spread out thinly. Cook until browned and just beginning to go a bit black around the edges (should only take 10 minutes or so if you've got it hot enough).
Serve with tons of rice and some simple stir fried veg - spinach or something.
*or, most authentically, use a barbeque instead

edit for soy sauce
