French Door Rebates

Can anyone tell me the size of rebate as i believe it is a standard size but not sure? 10mm? Thanks in advance. Graham

But I'd get the hardware first and then decide. You can get rebate mortice locks, but if you go for a rim lock or something surface fitted, you can be freer with the rebates. cheers Jacob
