For a tea room . Ive been asked to make up a unit with lots of 9" X11 1/2" boxes for a tea room to display the tea they are going to sell . Heres the start of it , i'm using the uprights as temp supports right now . They will be fixed tomorrow . The annoying thing is it's going to be waxed a dark oak colour but i need to glue the uprights in so cant wax the larger sheets before hand i'm going to have to wax lot's of silly little boxes . Still you all know i enjoy the briwax experience ;D

Why wax ? Lacquer it and then wipe some wax on for odour, wax won't be resilient enough.

Cause wax is fast and i can leave them a tub or two to touch up . Plus it gets me off my head when applying it ;D

at colin c's suggestion i covered the oak table in b&q satin water based varnish, and will wax later. seems a good idea to me didn't so far cause any gluing problems surely evostick is better than briwax paul

I know you're cheap, but you could have at least put the lights on for the picture ;D
Or were you too high to take the bright light?

Titebond and dovetail pinned with the default where needed , most of the upright parts are just glued .

Well its on the wall , it took 3 men to lift it 6 6" ficher fixings and 30 4" screws are holding it up and i still felt it had to have legs . The ones in the pic are a quick fix while they decide what they want . I thing gallows brackets would look better .
