Ive never been a fan of cutting tenons on the table saw , it just seems like a dangerous thing to do to me . Still if your happy with it and the jig looks robust enough then nice one .

Merry Christmas Scrit, yes I agree about the safety point. Still if you keep your fingers on the opposite side of the vertical fence there is no problem. Got to be a bit silly to put my fingers around the side of that I think. ;D

cut the tennon cut first ,then the shoulder cut . this stops a small offcut flopping around near the blade keep hands on the jig if only we all had the luxury of a spindle moulder with a 4" depth of cut and a proper tennoning head

Well finally modded it and added a clamp. Had to make a new fence out of Oak but it clamps solid and cuts accurately and that's what counts.
