Not breathtaking cabinet making but a nice piece of veneer on some random cherry MDF. Handles still awaited! and am wondering if I should put a solid strip along the front bottom edge to hide the runners. PS thanks to all the advice on avoiding lock mitres on this material Brian

Brian
Looks handsome and sits well with the other natural wood in the room. I'd wait until you've fitted the handles before taking a decision about adding a strip along the bottom.
Is that the final finish? If so, I like it - not too shiny.
Regards.

Looks very smart.
My preference would be to hide the runners too.

Nice job Brian, think I'd hide the runners. Runners from our mutual friend - thanks again Handles and drawer runners currently lost in post! I think I have decided on a front cover strip to maintain the clean appearance.
