I finally got the Cd rack fitted in the 'computer room', Looks like I may need more racks though.

just buy fewer programmes, or bits of music ;D looks good mate, so maybe we should have a contest on green disposal of spare cd's and dvds paul

I think if I were making one of these I'd make the slot hold 2 CDs with just enough room to get a finger in the gap between each pair. By using finger and thumb either the upper or lower CD of any pair could be extracted.

I have to agree with you Bob. I used a large space between the disks as it was MDF and I wasn't sure how strong it would be really. Maybe I should use wooden inserts next time instead. Lesson learned anyway.

check out the plastic inserts and so on from isaac lord, the only problem is often cd#s and dvds are different sizes in their boxes paul

I think I'd be tempted to paint up some shelves and convert it to vertical storage, rather than filling your house with cd storage.

Looks very good! Just seems a lot of wasted space between the cd's going horizontal. I prefer vertical with finger space on top.
