Well the flock fibre finally arrived today and I have just finished the lid and bottom drawer. I will have to leave it for a few hours before I can shake off the excess fibre but it is looking good:


I shall return to the shop later tonight and shake off the excess to see how it looks. Will let you know.

Been down to the workshop and shaken off the excess to see what it turned out like.



Must say I am pleased with the results. Logo came up better than I expected I am glad to say. Will give it a clean up and replace the lid tomorrow.

Well after allowing the flock to dry overnight I re-assembled it and after giving it a dusting took it indoors for a photo shoot.
Here are the results, sorry about all the pics.








thought I would show you the final thing before taking it to the customer. I have enjoyed building it even if it has taken much longer than expected. I am pleased with the outcome and have learned something new with the flocking, which I am happy to say turned out well as did the logo. In the picture it looks like there isn't enough coverage of the flock around the logo but this is just on the camera for some reason? Possibly light reflected or something. Anyway all in all I am very happy with the end result, I think the customer will be too.
