although i am not looking for more tuits, i thought it might be useful to organise my chisels etc. so how do you store your chisels, particularly those without edge protectors. i am looking for a minimum height, width and depth unit that means i won't nick my hands when removing them, and that also protect my hard won sharpness. i was thinking about maybe using some plastic packaging or what to drive the chisels into when putting them away. i like some of the revolving ones, but wonder what other ideas you all have. paul

This is what I made last year. To reduce depth you could also leave the doors off Andy

nice but, i note most of you have only 10-18. i have about 3 dozen, so am looking for more information about what you could press the edges into. mind you like all the cabinet making though paul

im impressed by the perfection of the chisels
mine have flat backs, clean sides and are sharp. otherwise they are thoroughly abused and the blade lengths depend on age and use
i run chisels from 4mm to 32mm
