So you haven't seen Spear & Jackson, Garlick, Greaves, Sanderson-Keyser, E.T.Roberts & Lee, etc?
I'm sure Alf could give us all a much more detailed picture

I'm serious Mr Deeds , i loved my jap saws and hard points untill i started using these again . I've done a hell of alot of site work and went down the road of cheaper saws for obvious reasons but know no one else can get thier hands on my tools im going back to real saws .

Sorry for my absence, gents - lying upon a bed of sickness most of this month. As far as British saw makers go, well there's a whole book of 'em - couldn't possibly even start on a list. Most were in Sheffield of course, but quite a few in London too as well as various odds and sods dotted all over. Whatever you do, don't even dally with the idea of getting an example from them all or you'd need a saw till the size of Belgium... Cheers, Alf

Perhaps that's why the Belgians don't have a sense of humour ;D Cheers Paul
