I seem to recall some one asking about this joint a while ago .  I remember seeing a picture of it but i dont remeber seeing any folding wedges shown on this one . |

First post here I believe, Lee Valley has a book in their historic reprint stuff called "Specialized Joinery" that details scarf joints among many other things as well.

Hi James and another welcome (also to Pam!) I found this some time back. Hope it's of interest:  From a very old Shell book, believe it or not. Anyone ever made any of these? Personally I've done #1, #3, #12 and #13, but the rest look a bit hard..... Scrit |
