Well my EBay win arrived today I'm assuming the groves in the side are to take cutters for tenoning and the nut that sits flush with the top is so the tenon can go over the spindle ? Thats an added bonus really as i only bought it for the architrave cutters .

NIce looking block, I saw that one on eBay, shame its a different spindle size to mine. That architrave cutter would make nice scrolls too. any luck with that jig yet Jason?

That's a Tiger block. They were also sold with the Robland/Startrite universals and the blade segments were 4, 5, 6 and 8mm wide (I think). Of course not compliant now, yada, yada. Useful if you want to do beading recovers on frames
