Does the general membership think that the threads Tools I Like and Tools I Don't Like should be sticky?

nails through the fingers as a result of not looking where you are nailing, are not a good enough excuse for failing a tool ;D surely it is the tool that has to be crap, not the exulted user paul

Should I continue? ;D Scrit

alright, i submit, as a user you are allowed to nominate it. have you compared the dewalt cordless with the passy, and if so, how does it match up??? i guess the biggest thing is that the dewalt cannot punch nails as big? paul

ive five passys, here are the facts
smell
the smell isnt terrible
its as exagerated as those who claim that modern windmills are noisy
they arnt noisy, not even close up, ive lived in yorkshire and have been up on the moors to the windmills AND ive been to tarifa in southern spain where there are many thousands of windmills
refusal to fire is mostly down to two things
ONE out of date gas TWO dirty battery connections
i will say it is odd why the battery connections go black quite quickly

Well I got the air driven deWalt thingie and got fed up with dragging the airhose about. So I then got a cheapie paslode from the US to try out. Reckoning that I'd sell whichever I didn't use for a month. Guess what's going on ebay? The DW..

After you've field stripped and cleaned a Passy a dozen or so times and you've run out of gas on a Saturday afternoon once or twice whilst on a job you do start to think twice...... about the Senco and DW cordless nailers which don't need gas.
