Coronet Capitol

Hello - Hoping to find some info on a old band-saw I have.

Its cast aluminum, 3 wheel - 102" blade -

- possibly big brother to the Coronet Imp..

A lovely machine, but I'd really like something with dust extraction !

One name that came to mind for Coronet information is Derek Pyatt - who runs a website with contact details at coronetwoodworking.co.uk/index.html

As for a machine with dust extraction, I guess it may be possible to modify yours somehow, or if you're looking to replace it, I think most new bandsaws now on the market have some kind of D/X - although on my Jet a lot of dust still ends up on the workpiece, saw table and floor despite a decent extractor being used.

If you're after blades then I think that both Dure Edge and Dragon Saws enjoy good user feedback, and can weld blades to any length you like.
