B&Q have introduced a Maccallister Lithium Ion drill for £29.95, but currently have it on offer at £19.95. It's only 10.8V and chuck capacity is 10mm, but for the money it is a superb compact light drill for the lighter jobs in wood - with a 3 year guarantee. I have tried it and it seems to be good value for money - and if it breaks I'll return it under B&Q's no quibble policy. I might even get another one (or two) for leaving lying around the workshop/house.

beware of the B&Q 3 yr warranty if you're in the trade. They have a clause that reduces this to just one year and nil on some products.
Cheers

Shouldn't be a problem. If you purchase with a personal card and register any forms in your personal name, they will honour the guarantee - they did with a circular saw I bought 2 years ago for rough work and the motor failed after 18 months of a 2 year guarantee. They never asked any questions about it's use.

Fortunately I don't do site work, it's all workshop based. However, at £19.95 if it did have problems and had to be scrapped after even 12 months, I still think it's still good value as a back up to my Makita.
