Hi, I recently purchased a 10ins jointer made by Watts Bros. This is an old cast iron machine, complete apart from the motor. The planer top section is bolted to a lower cast iron base. The motor is mounted on a plate pivoted within the lower cast iron base of the planer, tensioning is applied by the weight of the motor against a coiled spring. The two bladed steel block is 3 3/4ins. in diameter driven by a 3 3/4ins. V pulley. I was wondering if anyone, most likely Scrit, had any background on the company and their products, if possible any photos, the horsepower and speed of motor required and the colour livery of Watts Bros? Regards
