Whilst you're about it I'd also suggest looking for a Martin T7x (T72. T73, T74, etc) or a Panhans panel saw - both makes are on a par with Altendorf. As an aside Altendorf did make a "basic" model called the C45 for a few years (in Germany, the current lower range Alts are mainly Chinese made) - similar to an F45, but manual rise and fall/tilt (as opposed to hydraulic/electric), no angle read-out and a more nbasic crown guard which mounts atop the riving knife. Otherwise a proper Altendorf
