I'm looking for an oscillating edge sander. 2nd hand would be great. Does anyone know of any available, or where I might look?

Nick, I had idle thoughts about one of these being useful for some jobs but difficult to justify space and cost for me.
But it might be possible to improvise with a oscillating spindle sander driving an edge sander belt with a homemade backer board for the belt and an extension table improvised off the spindle sander table.
ISTR that you are a Pro and so this might not be suitable for your application but......

An interesting idea, but I suspect that the details of the implementation would be harder then they might at first appear.

Oh! that sounds like a challenge coming on!!
Trouble is that I have enough challenges just getting the workshop up and running for now.
I'm also still trying to think through the "non wall-mounted panel saw" ideas that Jason has sparked off
I'll have to add it to the list of things to think about for the peak of the Christmas festivities when SWMBO bans me from the workshop and the computer. However, I normally get away with a pencil and paper.
