I'm thinking of getting the new patriot chuck.
Best price I can find delivered is Turner Retreat £140
Anyone wish to comment on the chuck ?

Hiya Jim - I got mine on Saturday for £140 with spur centre and screw chuck. It's a fantastic piece of kit and can't fault it or recommend it enough! Go on - you know you want to!

I have two Nova 2 chucks. I bought and received to day a set of Patriot pin jaws from Stiles & Bates. They sell all Patriot stuff as do Turners Retreat. Nowhere seams to have any Super Nova stock left.
They combine together well. It was my worry that although said they were compatible This would not be the case.
I think, and rightly so all wood turning stockists have turned there backs on Nova wanting to sell British
The quality of the Patriot jaws are 10/10.

If I have it right  I think Record now sell Nova as they now have Lathes with Nova on them and a new chuck too. |
