I'm a bit suprised to find a cooking forum on a woodworking board, but I love cooking, so here goes!
4 Chicken breasts 1 Jar pesto 8 Rashers smoked back bacon Olive oil White wine Tub creme fraich
Cut a deep slit in each chicken breast without going all the way though and spoon a generous dollop of pesto into each. Wrap each stuffed breast in two rashers of bacon and fry gently in a small amount of olive oil for 10 minutes each side or untill the chicken is cooked.
Remove chicken from the pan and keep warm in the oven.
Deglaze the frying pan with a little white wine and then add the creme fraich and stir well.
Pour the sauce over the chicken breasts and serve.
Quick and absolutely delicious!

Sounds very good! Worth trying. So, whats the problem with cooking in a woodwork forum? We concoct and cook up a whole lot of stuff in our workshops ............. "It is a delicate combination, blend and fusion of shades of wood and grains to blend together a mortice & tennon which imparts visions of harmony, colour and smell ......." (will now push off and stop talking sh*t)

and there was me thinking you were only building a looking kitchen, not a using one ;D it's amazing what you can do with a bottle of pesto to add taste to various rather bland meat dishes. paul
