I have been invited to design and construct 3 bathrooms vanity units etc and 3 walk in wardrobes plus other bits and bobs for a apartment in Chelsea (SW10). Can I be cheeky and ask what is the day rate in this part of the first city?

forget worrying about day rates, be more concerned about the overheads. congestion charge, parking and parking fines, plus of course the silly things like yellow box fines, petrol and of course your breakfast and lunch. think about at least 200 quid a day, plus something to cover these overheads. paul  who doesn't make a living doing it in london, but knows some others who do |
