my project which involved the taper legs includes some short
lengthways slats which are trapped at each end. they are only about 12 inches long in oak, and 1/2 wide.
want to peg dowel each end as a contrast, so should i worry too much about wood movement??? cuase the whole thing is quite thin in design and i do not want it to split the joints.
