bury st edmunds carpenter in the small ads

i was in bury st edmunds last weekend, most local papers have a dozen ads

most of bury st edmunds is a preservation area so i was expecting plenty of ads for carpenters. i found the single solitary ad

"UPVC windows repaired and installed"

so what can a REAL Carpenter do with upvc windows ;D

brings a whole new meaning to politcal correctness

Maybe they are all so busy that they do not need to advertise

(or maybe every last house has now been converted to UPVC )
