Ive been asked to make two sets of french doors with three diamonds made from the glazing bars . A bit like this but three of them . I know when i made the ones above there was a small amont of flex in the bars so i am just wondering if three in a row would work . Anyone done anything like this ?

could you not do it like the double glazing boys do - and bond the glazing bars to the full pane of glass ?

I remember these from earlier (over there). What do you mean exactly - three diamonds in one panel or something? Might need a sketch.

Yup thats better , i have drawn them on . Waddya think ;D
Its the diamond shape three times down the door with the vertical and horizontal little bits of bar supporting them from the points of the diamond .

I think you'd have to have the through horizontal glazing bars to stiffen the panel and to tie the stiles together i.e. wedged through M&Ts. Praps also beef up the bottom rail to make up for the missing lock rail. And if the stub glazing bars were also through tenoned into the stiles, they'd be stiffer.
