Welcome to the June, 2008 issue of the Sawdust Making 101 Newsletter.
There are a lot of box joint jig plans available, You Tube now has a video of using my favorite with a few improvements added:

Fortunately it is longer necessary to know how to use complicated CAD programs to work on drawings with a computer, there are several really easy to use programs available, the latest I have heard about is from Ikea. They would like you to buy their cabinets naturally, but it is not required:

I have added another safety poster with a vintage patent background, this one is for wood lathes and features a patent from 1884. These posters can be printed on a regular printer or on a large format model if you want a bigger poster:

Just a reminder to get your name entered to win the Delta/Porter Cable workshop from Rockler, they have monthly draws for prizes up until the final draw date.

If you need to get in the shop out of the rain, or the heat, for a few hours check the Cedar Wishing Well plan on Timeless Treasure Trunk:

Run out of ideas and want to browse through some plans, you will find hundreds of them that cost you nothing at Absolutely Free Plans:

For other craft ideas visit Do-It-101.com, a do-it-yourself index to just about anything:

In closing I would like to remind you to work safely and remember:
"If it doesn't feel good, don't do it."
