Trade discounts

I know this can be seen as being nosey. But if you don’t mind me asking and I know it will depend on size of order etc but just generally, what type of discounts do you guys get from suppliers like Hettich and Hafele or any other furniture fittings suppler.

like you say , it depends on how much you spend and the quantities`s involved .

at my size of business you dont get "real" discounts from these suppliers

i find hafele easier to deal with than hettich

I am a small business “one man and his dog” and I don’t spend that much with either Hafele or Hettich. But I do get between 35 and 37% discount on what I do spend with Hettich. Regarding Hafele when purchasing online I get the normal quantity discounts, but if I go through the Hafele rep I normally get up to 20% discount.
For what it is worth I don’t have an account with either just a trade proforma account with both.

I don’t know if these discounts are good or indifferent. Like mel says “fight your own corner”
