Does anyone know if Freud sell directly or if you have to buy from a distributor? I'm looking for a couple of new blades for my TS55 saw.
Cheers,
Steve

As far as I know you still have to find a dealer. I have nagged them for years to set up internet sales on their site but they say it would undermine their dealers. Trouble is my "local" dealer is over an hours drive away and it is easier to buy CMT from Axminster

Thanks for the replies. The Freud website is odd in that they have prices for everything but no way (apparently) of ordering. I did however find this morning that D+M sell freud blades and having used them before I'd be happy to order from them again as their service is very good.
bon weekend!

I've bought my Freud blades from Rutlands without any problems.
As an aside, the Freud Diablo blades have a strong following amongst Stateside users of the EZ system. I understand that they have a thinner kerf than those available here. Has anyone ever found them for sale here? I've occasionally seen them on Ebay but not in the right spindle sizes.

To my knowledge Freud in Leeds do sell direct, but ONLY to trade accounts, which means you have to have a firm manufacturing joinery and be buying a minimum monthly quantity.

Thanks for the heads up mel - I'll have to have a look next time I'm passing. Have also ordered a couple of blades from Cutting Solutions to compare to the Freud ones. As far as price is concerned they are similar to Freud - the rip (Z=12) is a bit more and the crosscut (Z=48) a bit less.
