Can anyone suggest a mail order supplier for standard engineers hardened steel drill bushings (metric, for drilling jig making)?

Ivan, I spoke to these people once when I was thinking of having some bushes made up. I didn't proceed with it in the end but they were very helpful www.boneham.co.uk/about.htmCheers Paul

why not by some silver steel and make your own. otherwise someone like chronos or one of the other model engineering suppliers is probably the way to go since they may well be stock items. paul

Thanks for the tip - I gave up after 110 pages of googling - I thought Kelly's only listed manufacturers!
I have bored out 10mm HT setscrews, on drillpress, not lathe, so not very concentric, not really accurate enough. Hold up quite well, though.

if you use v blocks on the press you should be able to creep up on the final size by using a number of drills, and that should be pretty concentric paul

Ivan, provided you don't want large quantities, I can make some up for you based on HT sets if you tell me what you need. I you can cover the cost of the materials and postage to you then I'm happy to help. I dont have any ability to harden metals
