I came up with the following as a cheap but accurate way of setting up my router cutters. Inspiration taken partly from the Trend depth gauge but it is a lot more accurate. The cheapest digital ones that I could find were around £40 - this one cost about £8 ;D The digital vernier calliper was bought on ebay and is held in place in a rebate by the small pan head screw so it can be easily removed to be used as originally intended. The only thing you have to remember before using it is to place the gauge on a flat surface and press zero before measuring. Steve
