Does anyone use one ? I am looking at a multi machine and the record c26 has the option for a slot morticer . Just wondered if they are any good ? Also any thoughts on the c26 / 30 . Has anyone got one ?

Better than nothing. Slots have round ends so you have to clean them up. But if you are using it much you will want tomove on to a morticer PDQ.

I have had a C26 for a year and a half. Overall impression very good. The table saw is excellent - very good sliding table, easy to set up, excellent dust extraction. The P/T is also excellent - well worth paying a bit more for the Tersa block (another £300) as the finish is quite superb on that. I do not use the thicknesser as I have a Makita 2012 as well. Extraction not fantastic on the P/T The spindle moulder I have used least - but for making panel doors and rebating a big oak door frame it was sooo fast. Problems I had with it - the P/T outfeed table was out of line - and eventually Peter from record came and spent half a day rebuilding it in my workshop - now it is fine. I would like there to be different thickness riving knives for different blades Overall - a good buy which is easy to set up and very compact Gasman
