Hi. can anyone suggest a good supplier for the above. I've been asked to quote on a job which if I get it will need about 30cu ft and so want to find somewhere that has both good quality boards and is reasonably priced. SL Hardwoods are quoting £8.22 +vat for 1m of 175 x 25mm, which I work out to be around £50 / cu ft. Not sure if this is a fair price or not.
Thanks in advance,
Steve

PS... I do use other woods Just knocked this up this morning out of oak

With regards to the ABW, did you get it locally or did you order it in? If the latter, who did you use? In the end yesterday, I managed to get a couple of boards from Champions in New Malden which saved me going over to Croydon. I'll try and post a picture of the finished article when I've done it. Cheers, Steve

Cheers, Steve Sailing this summer! Summer when was that then ;D The last lot at £52 per cube for 1 1/2" was from James Latham Yate branch near Bristol 120 odd miles from me . My nearest supplier is Atkins & Cripps who have a branch at Saltash only 30 minutes away but they quoted £60+ robbing barturds ;D
