I was just watching something on TV that reminded me of a job i was asked to do on a very nice property over looking Hyde Park . The said property was actually another country if you know what i mean and had a wonderfull ornate box gutter about three foot deep , this gutter ran all the way along the properties / other countries . I was asked to take off the rotten ornate mouldings and put up a square ply box to hide a plastic gutter I'm not sure if was the king of some far land or one of his staff i told to poke it up his ar*e ;D

So long as it's legal and not imoral I tend not turn turn too much away. Oh yes plastering can't stand it, can't do it, won't do it.

I refused to splice a new piece of wood into a window frame. Expect customer would have wanted it done for a couple of quid too!

Yup , i have just refused a job on a school where the sashes where shot to bits but they wanted them bodged up . Amazing as the Rugby ground they have there must earn loads of money . But i guess that doesnt get put back into the school Then again they did spend quite a few quid on radiator covers I'm guessing if they had added another £900 to the budget they could have had new windows and thermostats on the rads and not bothered with a bodge that is already going wrong and the rad covers .... Nice rads too
