Simple and basic these matching washbasin stands were just biscuited together from solid legs and veneered MDF for the panels. They seem so strong you could drive over them ;D Hopefully my daughter will treat them more kindly. One has already been attacked by nail varnish remover This was the job when I discovered Sikkens water based Unitop is not waterproof so had to re-finish them in spirit based sikkens. I can't make up my mind if they should have doors or remain open fronted. the latter might limit the accumulation of rubbish. Brian

Doors I think Brian, they're bound to be filled with clutter eventually.
Very nice.

very nice, simple and effective. I like them. Yeah I agree, no doors, show the clutter.

Very nice Agree about not having doors My only comment would be to cover up the drain traps in some way. OK to have a nice chrome trap but it needs chrome pipes as well if its going to be on display

You could look at Hepworth's HepVo traps, as they have no bottle at all, they will fit almost flush with the basin.

Very nice. I'd fit doors because those traps and plastic bits spoil the effect and they'll probably get filled with junk anyway. Cheers Paul

maybe the thing to do is have a panel at the top which hides and covers the trap, and has a bottom, will make it easier to keep this space clean. and have an open space underneath i cannot tell you how much rubbish in terms of dust etc accumulates whilst you do not notice, but then suddenly it is black with dirt. the other thing is that hiding the trap is it makes the whole thing look even cleaner than it does now. nice work mate anyway. paul

Fortunately the traps are not visible unless you crouch down as I did to take the pics. You cannot see the pipes at all.
Still not sure about the doors but you are all right about the gradual collection of junk. (The ads always show neatly folded piles of coloured towels). If I decide against I could always take up the suggestion above an put in a small panel to hide them completely.

Very nice, apart from the traps.
