Dear All i am wondering if anyone has any names of good timber yards/sawmills in bucks especially around the High Wycombe area but would like to see the stuff that i am buying. Initially i have a job for 16 oak double sliding shaker wardrobes but could do with some walnut soon too. thanks in advance for any thoughts

Paul, Not a word, asked around some of the local places to find out if anyone had heard from him but so far no word. Spoke to a friend at Isaac lord on Saturday who knows him but he has not heard from him either. I did call the mill in Swindon to try and find out, and got a hesitant "we are working on it". So I'm still hopeful it's going to materialise. Will keep my ear on the ground and let you know if anything comes up.

Paul, and others interested,
Great news, just had a call from Niel (Barns Branch) he is setting up to supply wood in wycombe and surrounding areas. He is apparently doing two days a week at the mill in swindon and the rest around the greater wycobe area. He is going to send me his contact details (Brocure) and I will scan this and post them here so that others can also see it.
Have a great day Jock
