I keen on trying this stuff but the Holkham site says to keep the paint off the seals. I'm looking at using EPDM seals around the glazing on my sliding sashes, if its a potentially serious problem I don't think I'll risk it.

This may be because EPDM has very poor oil resistance and this may extend to vegetable as well as mineral oil.

I've done a test with linseed oil on EPDM and I cant see any degrading. So I've gone ahead and ordered some Holkam paint for my box sash window. I'll report back with the results.
