What on Earth are they going to do with several hundred tons of splintered Baltic pine planks randomly scattered along every beach on the South Coast of England?
It's been in the sea for a week - to my mind it'll just be so much wet firewood.....

I think it was a BBC story linked on the other place which said that the owners (which means their insurers, really) are going to sell it for pulp (paper, mdf, etc).

My best bet is consider bio-mass pellets - probably worth more on the market than low-grade pulp.
